Follow the source item through the crafting chain
The Reptile Hide entry identifies Snapjaws in Blackmire as the source. Check that the drop is Hide, then bring it to the Drying Rack to make Leather. Neither the creature drop nor generic Leather is a substitute for the finished regional material.[2]
- Confirm that the Hunter has been rescued in this world.
- Pick up Reptile Hide and inspect the Drying Rack recipe.
- Bring Salt as well as Hide; adding extra Hide cannot fill the Salt slot.
- Queue the required whole batches and collect the finished Leather.
Plan whole batches and see the spare output
Enter the finished Leather target and your existing stock. Remaining demand is rounded up in groups of three. The calculator then subtracts the Hide and Salt you already have and estimates sequential rack time.
Example: needing eight new Leather takes three batches. Prepare three Hide and nine Salt; the output is nine Leather with one spare. At the listed base speed, one rack takes three minutes, excluding other queued work.
